Not as famous as Tegalalang Rice Terraces, but definitely just as beautiful!

Proudly a UNESCO World Heritage site, the rice fields at Jatiluwih are a great part of Bali to visit if you want to see what see the true face of the island, outside of the busy tourist areas, looks like.

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are an explorers dream, and if you’re looking for Instagrammable places in Bali then these rice fields are a lot less crowded than those of Ubud.

With fields and fields of green, and extremely appreciative locals, Jatiluwih was one of the our favourite stops in Bali.

Jatiluwih can be difficult to get to, but that’s why it’s so incredible. At only 40,000 IDR to get in, it’s a very peaceful walk, and no matter how many photos you take, you’ll never capture the beauty of this place.
